First Microsoft Store in Canada opens today
November 21, 2012- When we arrived we had to wait in line to be in line.
- Even at 7:30 in the morning the DJ was hard at work.
- Promotional material from an HTC rep
- The first 200 people in line were given a pass to a Train concert tomorrow afternoon. My # was 157.
- There were people walking around doing various things. The lucky ones got to carry around Surface tablets to show off and to let us play with while in line.
- One rep helping another.
- Looks like a long wait.
- We finally got to hold a Surface tablet. Feels pretty solid and not too heavy.
- Chris taking a look at the built in kickstand of the Surface tablet.
- The magnetic connector has some strong pull. Strong enough that the cover is held on very well. I saw a rep hold the tablet only by the cover and give it a good shake without it coming apart.
- This keyboard has real, laptop type keys and is very thin. A win for those who hated the touch cover.
- more hands on with the Surface
- Confetti shot into the air.

- I was told that you can buy skins for Xbox in store but I was unable to find any thing other than this console.
- I did not catch the manufacturer of this machine but it was gorgeous!
- This self contained Xbox setup would make a great travel companion for someone who travels a lot. I usually end up packing mine in a backpack and hope for a compatible TV.
